Fishing rules
The fishing lake can only be visited with a reservation; there is no day ticket fishing.
Fishing is only possible from the private jetty belonging to the reservation.
Before starting to fish, anglers are required to familiarize themselves with and comply with the provisions of Act CII of 2013 on fish management and protection (Hhvtv.) and Decree 133/2013. (XII.29.) VM (Vhr.) issued for its implementation, the National Fishing Regulations (OHR) issued by MOHOSZ, and the rules of the present local fishing regulations (HHR).
Mandatory equipment for everyone:
- large dip net
- carp cradle
- wound disinfectant
General rules
- Only guests with a valid reservation, a fishing license, and a state permit valid for the given year or a "90-day tourist state permit" may fish in the Iglice Cölöpházak area.
- Our guests from abroad must also have a state ticket valid for the given year or a "90-day tourist state ticket" in order to fish on our lake!
- Only sport fishing is allowed on the lake, taking fish away is PROHIBITED, and anglers are required to gently return all caught fish to the lake.
- Each house has its own 35 m² jetty and a designated 50-meter-wide fishing area extending to the opposite shore.
- Only guests of the given house may fish in this designated area.
- Boats are not permitted; fishing may only take place from the jetty.
- The use of bait boats is permitted!
- Fishing from the jetties is only permitted from a Rod Pod; attachment points are provided for securing these (please bring rubber hooks!).
- Drilling or screwing anything into the jetties is strictly PROHIBITED!
- A maximum of 4 people may stay in one house, who may fish with a total of 6 rods, with 1 single hook per rod.
- You may fish day and night during your stay here.
- The use of leadcore is not permitted!
- The use of braided main lines is PROHIBITED; only monofilament main lines may be used (minimum 0.25 mm – we will check this randomly!).
- The use of casting leaders is permitted, both braided and monofilament, with a maximum length of 8 m.
- Only so-called breakaway rigs are permitted, which slide off the line without obstruction if the main line breaks. There must be no obstructions above the weight, such as swivels, stops or large knots.
- The use of braided hook leaders is permitted!
- The hook must be at least size 6, and the use of barbed hooks is permitted!
Feeding and baiting
- Feeding is only allowed from your own pier, and the use of feeding boats is permitted.
- Only methods using the pier, such as slingshots, throwing tubes, rockets, feeding boats, and any other methods based purely on physical strength and skill are permitted.
- Boilies, pellets, and any grain products, e.g., corn, wheat, canned corn, tiger nuts, etc., may be used in unlimited quantities without time restrictions.
- Feed may only be used in a feed basket or in combination with paste-coated lead. Feeding with feed in the form of separate balls is PROHIBITED!
- It is PROHIBITED to feed with live material (even if dead).
- Anything except live material (even if dead) can be used as bait.
- Floating sponges, pop-ups, etc. can be used with bait.
When you caught it
- All caught fish must be handled with care, and the use of a fish cradle is mandatory.
- Fish must be returned to the water immediately after photographing them; storing fish is PROHIBITED!
- When photographing fish, hold them above the cradle while squatting or kneeling. Do not stand up with them.
- The angler is fully financially responsible for any injury to the fish resulting from carelessness, which clearly leads to the death of the fish!
- Rough handling of fish will result in the immediate expulsion of the guests of the house in question!
- Do not touch the fish's gills if you do not know how to hold it safely; ask the fish warden for help.
- Please release large fish as quickly and safely as possible; do not keep them out of the water unnecessarily.

Control and responsibility
- Periodic inspections may be carried out in the lake area, and we ask for the cooperation of our guests.
- All guests are required to follow the instructions of the fish warden.
- Everyone stays in the Iglice Cölöpházak area at their own risk.
- Guests are financially responsible for any damage caused.
- All guests, including visitors, are required to comply with the house rules.
- Violation of the fishing rules and house rules may result in immediate expulsion.
- The service provider accepts no responsibility for accidents or damage occurring on the premises of Iglice Cölöpházak and excludes any liability for damages.
- Anglers and visitors acknowledge and accept that the entire premises of Iglice Cölöpházak are monitored by CCTV.
